Carrons New Born Foal

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Cotebrook Loch Carrons new foal on Tuesday January 12th 2010. A very long legged black colt foal, he arrived three days after his due date. At the moment his coat is grey but when he loses his foal coat he will be jet black like his father Cotebrook King.

When all the snow had melted by Saturday it was safe for him to take his first steps outside at only three days old.

Alistair says that he is the biggest foal that has ever been born at Cotebrook standing at 12 hands high when he measured him - at just three days old!

Our new foal is full brother to our most successful horse born at Cotebrook, Beth, so it will be interesting to see how he develops.
