Photo Competition 2016
We have launched our annual photo competition and need your entries!
From Shire horses to shetlands, polecats to piglets, with so much to see at our award winning centre we want visitors to get "snappy".
Open to novice and amateur photographers of all ages (sorry no professionals) the competition has four categories for you to enter.
A selection of the best entries will be displayed at the centre and the winners in each category will receive a years free membership, a Shire Horse model and have their winning shot appear in Cotebrook Shire Horse Centres 2017 visitor leaflet - 120,000 of which are distributed across the North West.
Entrants must only submit one picture per category.
Photos previously taken at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre may also be submitted.
1. Shire Horse
Entrants should be able to capture the old English breed in all its glory. Home to some of the biggest and best Shire horses in the world, finding the right shot shouldn't be a "tall order".
Last years winning entry was by Steve Weaver.
2. Farm and Wild animals
With a fantastic selection of British animals both wild and domesticated, there should be no shortage of creative photo opportunities.
Last years winning entry was by Ann Woolfenden
3. Landscape and Shire horses
We have 50 acres for you to roam to find the perfect picture that shows Cotebrook Shire Horse Centres stunning scenery including our Shire horses.
Last years winning entry was by Sarah Thornton
4. Cotebrook funnies
With so much going on around the centre there is usually a funny moment to capture.
